Question and Answer Section
How would you describe your native accent?
London, (originally) but having moved about the comments I often get is "hard to place" (unless I have to tap into my East-End roots) or intentionally use some dynamic of received pronunciation - code switching is a real thing!
What projects / recordings may people recognise you from?
The Werther’s Original television commercials airing from 2020 through to 2022.
Are you available every day?
Unless booked, I’m available during the day (or evening for USA clients).
What project are you most proud of?
Tough to choose. I was for a time very proud of one of my very first gigs over 18 years ago; a 3 minute narration for the Fowler Museum, but I'd dread to hear it now! However, I’d gladly present some of my more recent work as worthy of standing the test of time. Notably playing the parts of two Angels in conversation along with a monologue (in a Caribbean accent) for BBC Radio 4 Archive, also a narration for the Tate and of course the #OVA21 award winning ‘Letter to Covid-19’ Compassion.org.uk radio commercial.
How long have you been a voiceover artist?
Just over 20 years.
How would you describe your voice in five words?
I’ll insert my tag line here, "a great voice through genre, age, and culture."
